BMW M2 Specs
Now equipped with BMW's M TwinPower 3.0-liter Turbo Inline 6-cylinder engine, this latest version of the M2 is ready to get up and go. Depending on choices, buyers can now enjoy 473 horsepower with 443 lb-ft of torque from the available 8-speed Sport Automatic Transmission or 473 hp with 406 lb-ft with standard 6-speed manual transmission. Either way, it's a 20 hp improvement over the previous version.
Configured in an enthusiast-oriented rear-wheel drive layout, the M2 is complete with an M Sport Differential works to evenly distribute power between the rear wheels for stellar handling through twists and turns.
Braking occurs courtesy of standard M Compound Brakes and their precision braking rate. They are delivered with standard Blue or optional Red calipers.
New looks inside and out
The BMW M2 has always been a looker and the new M2 is no exception. New colors like BMW Individual Twilight Purple, Grigio Telesto, Voodoo Blue or Java Green will set your M2 apart like never before.
